The Path of a Japanese-American Investigator Born in the United States, Asami Himemiya spent her junior high and high school years in Japan with her childhood friend, Kagura. After graduating from Harvard University and becoming a naturalized Japanese-American, Asami followed in the footsteps of her childhood friend, Hisamune Kamikura. Through relentless effort, she began her career at the NYPD (New York City Police Department) before eventually carving her path as an agent for the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation).
